About Housing Authority of Salt Lake City (HASLC)

The Housing Authority of Salt Lake City (HASLC), a Public Housing Authority, was created in October 1970 to provide and promote affordable housing for low-income persons residing in Salt Lake City, Utah. The Authority is a federally funded Special Purpose Government Agency, providing rent subsidies and affordable housing to lower income families located in Salt Lake City, Utah. The Authority was established under the Housing Authorities Act of the State of Utah in 1969.
